course, the more the skills can be developed and the wider the range
of techniques learnt.
At the end of the course, we hope that participants will have gained
an understanding of what self defence is; the ability to appear
strong and confident; a greater sense of self esteem; assertion
skills and the ability to use the voice in a strong way; awareness
of and affiliation with personal boundaries; a variety of skills
for physical self defence, an awareness of a range of self defence
techniques and strategies.
